Climbing Mt Gower with my family was one of those days that quietly rewires who you think you are. Somewhere between the first slippery steps and the last rope on an exposed cliff, I watched my girls discover a new version of themselves – the version that keeps moving even when the views are scary, the mud is thick, and the rain won’t let up.

Nearly 1000 metres of vertical later, they weren’t just kids who had finished a hard walk; they were young climbers who had learned that big mountains are conquered one careful, committed step at a time.
